Right! A new beginning.

I have been blogging on and off for about 7 years now but have let it lapse for some time. A friend of mine recommended WordPress and I’ve decided that it’s time to begin again. Truthfully, it’s theraputic to “vent”, even if it is anonymously online. It’s also a really good way to keep people updated on things that go on, in our case, on the other side of the globe. I’ve imported one of my old blogs but I warn you they are WAY out of date and the original photos aren’t there, but can be of some interest. (What a great feature BTW)

I am originally from Montreal, Canada and have moved to Perth, Australia almost three years ago, leaving behind my entire family. Today, my mother confirmed with me that she’ll be coming to Australia for the first time to visit with us for just a little under a month. Hooray!

My sister visited a year and a half ago, but my mother has never been so it wil be exciting to show her around the place that I have come to love.

On another note, my kids went back to school today! Three of them in highschool and one still left in primary school. It’s been a quiet morning…(probably the reason I’ve had time to set all this up.)

Here’s hoping that I can keep this up on a fairly regular basis!
