The Megane wins!

OK, as much as I would love to drive around in a little red convertible…it’s really not practical at the moment. It was a loaner because my real new car wasn’t quite ready. (I’ll go into that another time.)
Here is my new car…

It’s the Megane Sedan that I liked in the post “He Says, She says” Ultimately, it was the best decision for me and for the kids. Brian still thinks it looks ordinary but I think he’s coming around to all the features.
I did get to test the auto-windscreen wipers and lights yesterday…very cool and an MP3 compatible stereo is alright too but the best part is the drive. SO smooth and quiet after years of driving older cars. The turning circle is WAY smaller than I am used to so I need to be careful for the next few days.
Now I just need to make a point of not trying to get a park close to the shops but one far away from any trolley bays!
Happy Birthday to me!

The days are whipping by in a blur now. All of a sudden some beautiful warm sunny days are creeping in and making those icky rainy days seem all but gone. Pretty soon I’ll be complaining about how hot it is…lol. Thank goodness for air climate controlled cars!
I think Chelsea and I may go shopping tonight. A little mother-daughter evening for some quality time. Thankfully, we’re not shopping with a purpose. I’m just looking to get something for myself with my Nana-money. Yep, almost 33 and I still get fifty dollars from my Nana for my birthday. Isn’t she sweet? It always comes in a beautiful card (gorgeous butterflies this year) and a little note to let me know how things are going in her life. She never forgets and it goes a long way in making me feel not so far from home. I really must make an effort to sit and write a letter back to say thank you. She’s not that great with email and it feels a little cold. A letter is so much more personal but my typing fingers forgot long ago how to make letters look pretty on paper. I only hope she can read it!
