Procrastination,… I’ll tell you about it later

Ok, so I’ll tell you about it now.

I’ve not written a post in some time as you may well have noticed. This was my attempt (obviously in vain) to leave my Japan post in the top spot as long as possible so as to attract some comments.

Though I did get one comment, my efforts in getting advice on Japan in my blog were, evidently, fruitless. I did however, get an email from a friend who has a friend who’s sister lives there… or something like that. LOL In any case, I have a contact in Japan now which I am very grateful for. (Thanks, Gillian!)

Speaking of travelling, I’ve just found out that I have a distant relation (we have an aunt in common) who is travelling around the world for a year and just happens to be in Australia at the moment. She also happens to be blogging the experience here.

Said aunt alerted me to this and I promptly read her blog - tres amusant - and offered a BBQ dinner if she made it to Western Australia during her time in Oz.  Perhaps I should have offered her a poutine?

Mmmmmmmmmmmm poutine *drool drool*
I realize those of you not from Quebec will be a little puzzled by that last comment and I will explain it….

…later. :)

Poutine??? I’m confused. But that’s ok..I’ll just google it!

As for leaving your post up the top, I think there is a plugin that allows you to sticky posts to the top?? There probably is..there are plugins for everything. Now if only I could find one that would kick me up the ass and get me out reading more blogs more often….

Hope life is treating you well!
    Cheers, Kelly

Now I think we have tried poutine. Did not realise it was a Canadian thing. There you go.

We found this pub close to where we live now and it was on the menu. It was chips with cheese and gravy. Is this the same thing you are talking about?

    It was very very yummy!

You have to read the following blog - “Bipolar Pannacotta”

    http://almapottery.blogspot.com/

Recent posts have been about a short living stint in Japan! Great reading - very interesting :)

    Merry Christmas!
Hope you had a great day, I hear boxing day was a scorcher. Hope you didn’t melt too badly….
    Cheers, Kelly

Yep Gillian, that’s it…sort of LOL It’s not really poutine unless they use cheese curds and not just grated mozzarella but close enough! You will have to give me the name of that pub!!

Hey! Thanks Cathy…definitely will be reading more of that blog. Very helpful indeed.

Merry Christmas to you too Kelly!! It certainly was a scorcher yesterday! 44.2 degrees…broke a record I believe. Will have to post about it on it’s own..LOL
Hope your holidays have been great!

    Hi

Now the poutine we had was in a pub called the Stadium Bar. It is on the Albany Highway in Bentley. Only been in it twice and we were the only ones in it!

We went back there on Saturday to try the poutine again, and it was not the same. It was horrible in fact!

Anyhoo, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hope you had a good time. We need to catch up soon!
